Infographic Software… It Just Got Easy

Most bloggers and online marketers are realizing the power of infographics to capture the attention of users and effectively deliver valuable information in a more entertaining way. The obvious tool most designers use for data visualization or really any graphic work is Photoshop. Of course, not every blogger has photoshot or the technical and artistic abilities to produce stunning infographics.

I found a great post which highlights some software solutions that combined can help even the least skilled bloggers develop amazing work.

 

 

 

 

 

My opinion is that any user could pull off a great infographic using the following two applications.

1)      http://www.wordle.net/

Give your infographic a personality with this tool that generates  “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes.

2)      http://www.tableausoftware.com/public/

This is a free data representation software that can help you create a variety of interactive visualizations and embed them your website.

Of course you are still going to need great ideas and the time to execute them.
