Application PolicyThe main interface lists the visible applications your students have open and allows you to close any of them. That's the active part, but the Denied Application feature lets teachers build a list of automatically denied applications. When in force, teachers can automate blocking stuents from running distracting applications like instant messengers, games, or other unwanted applications. And just like the browser policy, the application policy can be applied to one or all students. Additionally, instead of using the application name (which can be renamed), SurfDirector uses the windows class name of the application, making it harder to defeat.There are two ways to add items to the list of denied applications:
